Scentbird

Hi guys,
Sorry for the hiatus! Rathy and I had to put Petite on hold for a little bit to catch up in our personal lives. We’re hoping to start posting more regularly again. :-) Thank you for bearing with us!

Here is a simple nail art look inspired by the Scentbird product! :-)

Scentbird Black White Petite Peinture Nail Art Bird Perfume Metallic

Scentbird recently sent us a complimentary perfume from their perfume subscription service. For $14.95 a month, Scentbird sends a packaged sample of perfume of your choosing or one recommended by their system. The size is perfect travel size (though I’m not positive if it’s under 3 fl oz, the packaging seems about the same size as some of my travel-sized shampoo containers and those are under 3 fl oz.) It’s an interesting idea for those that want to try new scents without having to buy the whole bottle. Personally I really like the perfume bottle designs, sometimes that might be the only reason I get a bottle of perfume :x

Something Blue Tutorial

Today, we’ve partnered with Julep to bring you guys some potential wedding nail art looks. This was inspired by something blue. I’ve been gushing over the new Julep Shelly, from the Julep January 2015 Maven Box. It is such a perfect shade of robin’s egg blue. It’s a creme polish with a decent finish. The formula is pretty easy to work with if you use light coats between layers. Really really lovely shade of blue, so happy to add this one to my collection. ^_^

piCture pOlish Monroe Swatch + Happy Pi Day!

Happy Pi Day everyone! Today I have a swatch of piCture pOlish monroe 2.0 and some Pi day nail art to share. :)

Monroe is a lovely deep burgundy scatter holo jelly. It is opaque in 2-3 coats, and dries shiny and flat! The swatch photos below are without a layer of top coat! This is not a glitter polish either, so it’s super easy to remove as well.
