Today I will be showing how to paint Pupmkins on your nails! :-) All of the polishes used are available at Live Love Polish!
First, paint 2-3 coats with a base of nude polish. I’m using Color Club Natures Way for my base.
Next, take a striping brush with true orange cream on it (I’m using China Glaze Stoked to be Soaked) and draw an upward curve starting at the center of your nail to the right edge. It should be about 1/3 up from the the tip of your nails. Repeat the upward curve from the center, this time to the left edge.
Fill in your outline with the nail polish’s brush. (Coats easier than striping brush)
Using a true green polish (I’m using China Glaze Starboard), draw a small upward curve from one side of the pumpkin bump.
Repeat on the other side..
Draw a green line from the center of the two curves to finish off the pumpkin stem. If you’re feeling brave, feel free to add an extra large curve to the stem. If you’re even braver, perhaps add a curly cue. B)
Take a lighter peachy orange (I’m using China Glaze Peachy Keen) and create curved lines that follow the curve of your pumpkin. Allow your work to dry for 10-15 minutes, then apply your favorite top coat.
You can easily make this look either more classy with a gold accent nail, or playful with a cute jack-o-lantern accent nail.
The gold I am using is LVX Alchemy.
