Today, we’ve partnered with Julep to bring you guys some potential wedding nail art looks. This was inspired by something blue. I’ve been gushing over the new Julep Shelly, from the Julep January 2015 Maven Box. It is such a perfect shade of robin’s egg blue. It’s a creme polish with a decent finish. The formula is pretty easy to work with if you use light coats between layers. Really really lovely shade of blue, so happy to add this one to my collection.
On your ring finger, dab little areas of white (Julep Brigitte) to create the base of flower color 1…
Repeat the previous step, but this time using Julep India to create the base of flower color 2. It’s ok if they overlap!
Next, take Julep Jules and create curved lines within the dabs of white you created earlier, to gently add some shading.
On the flowers of color 2 (blue flowers), add curved lines of Julep Robin to create some shading.
Using your white again (Julep Brigitte), add some more curved lines to the flowers of color 2 (blue flowers).I even went as far as letting the white blend in with the previous curved line layers on this flower. It’s up to you how you want your flowers to look.
Using a dotting tool, add three small dots of Julep Savoy in the middle of each flower. Also add some gold leaves around select flowers. (Don’t add too many or else it will clutter your nail)
Repeat the florals on my middle and thumb to complete the look.
Finish with your favorite top coat. Mine is currently the fast-drying, 3-free HK Girl Glisten & Glow.
