Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something Blue.
I have another wedding nail art inspiration that will take a simple French manicure into something pretty and delicate for your wedding day.
One of the “Something Old” that came to mind was something that a friend included in her wedding. It was a piece of lace from her mother’s gown that she had incorporated into her own. So I decided to create my own lace nail art. It turned out so lovely that I think I could wear this on any occasion!
I first used a straight edge nail vinyl to mask off my nail tips. With Julep Ava, I painted my tips like any other French tip manicure.
Using a fine brush dipped in Julep Ava, I painted three thin arcs along the inside edge of the painted tip. With a very small dotting tool, I applied dots to the arcs in this fashion. A dot at the very top of the arc, a dot where the arcs meet, and a dot in between. After I finished all of the lace details, I used Julep Gemma (which is a sheer blush pink) and applied a thin coat over everything. Add a top coat to seal in your design!
