For this look, I have something borrowed. It is actually something very meaningful to me (as well as my husband), because what inspired this look was the pearl necklace that belonged to my husband’s late mother. I wore it on our wedding day so that she was able to be a part of the ceremony and celebration of our marriage, even though she could not be with us physically.
Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something Blue.
I have another wedding nail art inspiration that will take a simple French manicure into something pretty and delicate for your wedding day.
One of the “Something Old” that came to mind was something that a friend included in her wedding. It was a piece of lace from her mother’s gown that she had incorporated into her own. So I decided to create my own lace nail art. It turned out so lovely that I think I could wear this on any occasion!
I’m taking over for the second portion of the 31 Day Challenge, due to our busy schedules, and then Daisy will be back for the later portions.
Day 11 calls for Polka Dots! But I didn’t want to just do a regular polka dot pattern. So I did a dotted bubbly tip manicure.
I decided to use my brush and dotting tools to produce this look. It’s actually the first time I tried using the tools. They’re pretty fun and easy to use, but I think I still need a little more practice with them.
I threw some fun colors together using polishes from Essie’s 2014 Neon collection.
