Hello! Today I did a simple freehand manicure to compliment F.U.N. Lacquer Happy Ending. Happy Ending is a lovely blurple (blue x purple) holographic with tiny flecks of gold glitter. The color is beautiful and most stunning under direct light as shown in my photos. Just a small word of warning, this polish does contain glitter so like any other glitter polish, it may require some extra effort to remove. I did not experience any staining.
piCture pOlish Glitch is a dark turquoise-y forest green scatter holo (the mix has hints of yellow). piCture pOlish is known for its signature scatter holo mixes and this is no exception. I originally thought it would be nearly identical to piCture pOlish enchanting but it seems to be a significant shade darker in the same hue. Glitch’s scatterholo mix also seems a bit more complex than enchanting.
See below for a comparison of the colors. I also have full swatches of enchanting here.
For today’s prompt I decided to paint Loki in all the shiny nail polishes. *_*
I’ve recently developed an obsession for holographic nail polish as it is beautiful under the sunlight as well as to photograph. The one featured here is ILNP Iconic on my thumb. It’s a soft, exquisite gold holographic. It may look like your normal typical gold in the shade, but bam! When you see it under direct light, this polish just comes to life.
Here are swatches from Zoya’s Summer 2014 Bubbly collection. Overall this collection is gorgeous, all the polishes here are jelly-based. I don’t think I’ve done this set justice. The true magic of these polishes happen when your fingers move allowing the light to hit it all different angles. These are great colors, and they are perfect for summer.
I didn’t have any problems with the formula, it is a bit thin for the first layer so all the swatches below use 2 or 3 coats.
